Guest blogging is a powerful way to build links and drive traffic to your website.
In this article, I will talk about what guest blogging is and why it’s important, as well as the different ways you can approach guest blogging.
Guest Blogging
What is Guest Blogging
Guest blogging is a great way to introduce your business — and yourself — to the world. It’s also a great way to learn how other people are doing things, which can help you improve your own efforts.
Guest blogging is like giving away free advice on how to do something. You’re not charging for it, but you get credit for your time and effort.
This means that if you want more people reading your blog and sharing it with others, then guest blogging is an important part of your strategy.
Guest Blogging – Introduction
Guest blogging is a form of content marketing in which an expert or authority writes content for another website.
The author typically gets paid for their writing time and expertise, but not for the pageviews that come from their articles.
Guest bloggers are often rewarded with exposure, links and traffic for their own websites or social media accounts.
Why Does Guest Blogging Matter?
Guest blogging matters because it helps you build relationships with influencers in your industry without having to sell anything or interrupt anyone’s workflow.
It allows you to create valuable content without having to spend much time or money doing so.
It also gives you a chance to share your message with a whole new audience who may not have heard of you yet!
1. How to master the guest blogging process
Guest blogging is a great way to build links to your site, increase traffic and gain exposure. However, it can be difficult to know where and how to start, especially if you’re new to the process.
To help you get started, here are some tips for mastering the guest blogging process: Create a list of sites where you want your content to appear. These could be other blogs or websites that cover similar topics.
Create an outline or draft for each post before starting on the content of the article. This will help ensure consistency throughout all of your guest posts and keep you focused on what you need to say.
Once you’ve written your post, make sure that it is edited so that there are no spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. If you’re not confident about editing yourself, ask someone else to do it for you so that it’s ready for publication online when it’s published online by its host website (in most cases).
Make sure that each post includes an author bio at the end with a link back to your website (or at least a mention of it) so that people who read the article can find out more about you and what else you write about online.

3. Strategies to scale white hat SEO this year
With the slow start to the year, many businesses are still regrouping and getting their marketing strategies in order. Now is the time to focus on scaling white hat SEO.
To start, you need to understand what a ‘white hat’ strategy is and how it differs from a ‘black hat’ strategy. White hat SEO focuses on long-term results.
Black hat SEO focuses on short term gains at the cost of future penalties.
In this article we will share some of our favorite strategies for scaling white hat SEO this year:
- Keep your site mobile friendly
- Optimize your title tags
- Write unique meta descriptions that sell!
- Create good quality content: blog posts, articles, videos etc..
- Create social media profiles and engage with users on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
4. If anyone, regardless of experience, can get high-quality backlinks
There are many ways to get backlinks. Some of them require a lot of hard work, while others can be done by anyone.
The only problem with these methods is that they take a long time to show any results. It may take months before you can see your backlinks in action.
However, there are some shortcuts to getting high-quality backlinks in a matter of days or even hours. These methods are not guaranteed to work for everyone, but they have been proven to work for some people.
One such shortcut involves using software like SEO PowerSuite or Rank Tracker Pro. You can use it to find sites that have already linked to your competitor’s website and contact those websites directly through email or private message on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
You can also use this software to find relevant websites and contact them directly through email or private message on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
My Guest Blogging Experiment 15 Days, 18,400 Words, and 8 Guest Posts
I’ve been guest blogging for a little over two years now. It’s a great way to get exposure and grow your audience.
But I wanted to see if it could be even more effective if I tried something different. That’s why I decided to write this blog post as a guest post on another site.
This way I could experiment with how many guest posts are too many and how often you should publish them. I also wanted to see if there was a difference between writing articles on your own site and writing them on someone else’s.
If so, what would that difference look like?
If not, would it still be worth writing the articles at all?
The Experiment
The experiment began on September 26th, when I wrote my first guest post for another site. The goal was simple: Write at least one new guest post each week for 15 weeks straight.
The end result was supposed to be 15 new articles published within 15 weeks (one per weekday).

To answer this question, we have pulled together a list of some of the top benefits that you can expect when you start guest blogging:
-
Increased Traffic

1. Benefits of Guest Blogging Building Your Domain Authority
Guest blogging is a great way to build your domain authority and increase your readership. I had the opportunity to guest post on one of my favorite blogs, so I’ll walk you through the process and explain why guest blogging is such an effective strategy.
Why You Should Guest Blog
The benefits of guest blogging are numerous. Here are just a few:
Build Your Domain Authority – Guest bloggers are often more trusted by their audiences than regular contributors, simply because they’re outside experts in their field. Having someone else’s name attached to your content helps improve its credibilities in search engines like Google and Bing.
Increase Traffic – When you write for other people’s blogs, your content will be published there, which means you’ll get more traffic from that site. Plus, those sites may also link back to what you’ve written on their blog or website, driving even more traffic back to yours!
Get More Followers – By submitting posts to other sites, you can gain exposure with their audiences as well as increase your followers across social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
2. Benefits of Guest Blogging Getting Valuable Backlinks
Guest blogging is a powerful way to increase your search engine visibility, build relationships with other bloggers and establish yourself as an expert in your field. While guest blogging has its benefits, there are also some drawbacks that you should be aware of before diving into it.
The main benefit of guest blogging is getting backlinks to your site. A backlink is a link from one website pointing to another website.
Backlinks are one of the top-ranking factors for Google. If you have many links pointing to your site from high-quality websites, it will help improve your SEO rankings and make other people interested in what you have to offer.
Another benefit of guest blogging is that it establishes you as an expert in your field or niche. When someone reads an article written by you on another website, they may realize that they can learn more about a certain topic by reading through all of the articles that you have written on other sites.
This can lead them to visit your website where they may then subscribe to your email list or purchase one of your products or services.
Other benefits include:
- Connecting with other bloggers
- Building relationships with readers
- Getting valuable feedback on new ideas
3. Benefits of Guest Blogging Generating Referral Traffic
Guest blogging is a great way to generate referral traffic, build your brand, and get links back to your site. There are many benefits of guest blogging, including:
- Building relationships with other bloggers
- Generating referral traffic
- Getting more links back to your site
Here are some specific examples of how we’ve seen businesses use guest blogging to drive results:
A restaurant chain was looking for ways to increase their online exposure and generate new leads. We suggested they start writing guest posts for food blogs in their target markets.
The restaurant chain wrote three articles over the course of six months, which resulted in over 200 backlinks and 300 social shares. They also generated over 700 new visitors from Google search results each month!
4. Benefits of Guest Blogging Creating New Relationships with Bloggers
Guest blogging is a great way to increase the popularity of your website and improve the quality of traffic you receive. But did you know that you can also use guest blogging to create new relationships with bloggers?
Guest blogging has become a popular way for bloggers, businesses and individuals to build up their online presence. With more than 200 million blogs, it’s hard to be heard above the noise.
Guest blogging is a great way to get your voice heard and make an impact on other people’s websites.
The benefits of guest blogging include:
Building your reputation as an industry expert: When you write articles that add value to other people’s websites, they will start viewing you as an expert in your field. This helps build credibility and trust with potential customers.
Improving search engine rankings: Google favors sites that have relevant content published by other websites over those that don’t. When someone links to one of your articles from their site, this counts as “expertise” in Google’s eyes, which can help raise your search rankings.
Getting new readers: If someone finds one of your articles interesting or helpful enough to publish on their own blog or website, they may choose to share it with their readership as well!
How to Pitch Guest Posts to High Domain Authority Sites
Some of the most powerful pages on the internet are guest posts.
Whether it’s on a blog, a news site or an industry resource, guest posting is one of the best ways to build your reputation and reach new audiences.
But if you’re just starting out in your business and don’t have a lot of experience, it can be hard to get accepted as a guest blogger.
Here are some tips to help you pitch guest posts to high domain authority sites:
-
Find a niche where you can contribute value
The first thing you need to do is find a niche where you can contribute valuable content (and not just fluff).
For example, if you’re an SEO expert, find blogs that write about SEO topics and pitch them ideas for articles or interviews related to what they publish now. If you sell handmade jewelry online, find sites that write about jewelry trends or DIY crafts and offer your advice on how to sell handmade accessories online.
-
Build relationships with influencers in your industry first
You’ll want to start building relationships with influencers in your industry before pitching them guest posts because they’ll be more likely to accept it if they know who you are already!
1. Pitch Guest Posts Start By Understanding Your Value
Guest posts are a great way to get your content in front of new audiences, build links and drive more traffic to your website. But if you want to get noticed, you have to pitch guest posts strategically.
Here are some tips to help you pitch guest posts that get noticed:
Start by understanding your value. If you can’t explain why someone should publish your content on their blog, then there’s no point in pitching.
Don’t just send out a generic email with a link to your article or ebook show them how it will benefit their audience and help them achieve their goals.
Give them something unique. The best guest posts offer something different from what others have already written on the topic.
You don’t need to reinvent the wheel when pitching just make sure you’re offering something unique and valuable that readers won’t find anywhere else.
2. Pitch Guest Posts Create a Targeted List of Websites You Want to Write For
Guest posting is an excellent way to build your brand and gain exposure. But it can be time-consuming, especially if you’re trying to find websites that are a good fit.
If you want to save time and get the most out of your guest posting efforts, make a list of potential sites and then pitch them individually.
Put together a list of sites that have published similar content in the past
The first step is to put together a list of sites that have published similar content in the past. This can be tricky because you may not know what kind of content they usually publish, but there are ways around this problem.
If you’re writing about real estate, for example, start by searching for “real estate blog” or “top real estate blogs” on Google Images or Pinterest. You should see some results with images from various real estate blogs and sites.
If you click on those links, you can usually find out more about each one (for example, how often they publish articles).
3. Find the Right Person to Contact for Guest Blogging Opportunities
Guest blogging is a great way to reach out to new audiences, drive traffic to your site, and build links.
It’s also one of the easiest ways for SEO agencies to get clients.
In fact, according to research from the Content Marketing Institute and Marketing Profs, 82% of B2B marketers are using content marketing as a primary driver of leads.
So if you’re looking for guest blogging opportunities, here are some tips on where to start:
Find the Right Person to Contact for Guest Blogging Opportunities
The first step is finding someone who runs a blog that fits with your content. The best way to do this is by searching Google for “guest blogger” or “guest post writer” and then filtering by recency and relevancy (taking into account how long ago they last posted on their blog).
4. Start your Guest Blogging Email Outreach
Guest blogging can be a great way to build links and get exposure. But it can also be a lot of work.
It takes time to write each article, find the right sites, and contact them. That’s why it’s important to set up an email outreach campaign that will help you build relationships with potential editors, bloggers, and authors.
This will allow you to send over ideas for guest posts quickly whenever they’re needed.
Here are some tips for starting your own email outreach campaign: Make sure you have a list of publishers and bloggers that you want to reach out to. You can use tools like BuzzSumo or Ahrefs to find popular blogs in your niche.
You can also look at the author bios on their websites and see if they have any other publications where they’ve written articles that might fit into your site nicely. Once you have this list of potential contacts, make sure it’s organized well so you can easily send them emails later on!
Start building relationships with these people by sending them emails (and sometimes even phone calls) introducing yourself and letting them know how much value their site brings to yours!
5. Pitch Guest Posts Perfecting Your Topic Pitch
I’m always on the lookout for guest post opportunities. It gives me a chance to share my knowledge and experience with a new audience, and it’s an easy way to make money online.
But writing a great pitch can be tough. You need to come up with a topic that’s interesting, write an engaging introduction, and then describe how your article will help readers solve their problems.
It’s not easy to do all that in one email, but it can be done if you follow these steps:
-
Find Out What They Want Before You Pitch Them
Before you even think about writing your pitch email, find out what your target blog wants from its contributors. This might mean reading through their editorial guidelines or talking to them directly via email or social media.
The more you know about their audience and what they’re looking for in an article, the easier it will be to come up with an idea that fits their needs perfectly.
How to Scale Your Guest Blogging
Guest blogging is one of the most effective ways to attract new visitors to your website. But, it can also be time consuming, difficult to scale and expensive if you’re paying for ads.
In this article, we’ll talk about how to scale your guest blogging so that it becomes a source of traffic and leads without costing too much time or money.
What is Guest Blogging?
Guest blogging is when someone writes an article for another website, usually in exchange for some sort of compensation like links back to their own site or a share of ad revenue. The most common type of guest blog post is called an “advertorial” because it offers free content but also promotes a product or service.
Guest blogging has been around since the early days of the internet, but with the rise in popularity of social media sites like Twitter and Facebook, it has become easier than ever to find opportunities to guest blog on other sites especially if you have some kind of expertise that others would enjoy reading about.
Why Should You Scale Your Guest Blogging?
There are several reasons why you might want to scale your guest blogging efforts:
1. Work With a Content Company, Freelancer, or Guest Blogging Service
When you’re looking to create content for your business, you might wonder whether you should hire a full-time employee or an outside freelancer. There are pros and cons to both options, so let’s take a look at the differences between working with a content company, freelancer, or guest blogging service.
Content Company
A content company is typically a larger company that specializes in creating content for businesses. They have teams of writers who can handle all of your needs, from blog posts to press releases and more.
The biggest benefit of using a content company is that they have experience creating SEO-friendly content that will appeal to your target audience. This means you can focus on running your business instead of worrying about writing blog posts yourself.
Freelancer
If you’re looking for someone who can handle only certain types of projects or has specific skillsets, then hiring a freelancer may be preferable over using a full-time employee or team member. This gives you more control over when tasks are completed and how they’re done.
However, this option also comes with additional costs since freelancers usually charge by the hour rather than by project costs like some other options do.
2. Create High-Quality, Shareable, Long Form Guest Blog Posts
Guest blogging is one of the best ways to build your brand, earn links and get in front of an audience that’s relevant to your business. But if you’re going to guest blog, you have to do it right.
In this post, I’ll show you how to create high-quality guest posts that will get shared on social media and help you build relationships with influencers.
Why Guest Blogging Works
Guest blogging isn’t just good for building links it can also help you build trust and authority with your audience. A recent study found that 68 percent of B2B marketers are more likely to trust an article written by a blogger with a track record over someone writing for their own site.
This is especially true when it comes to long-form content that goes beyond the 500-word blog post format. People tend to respond better to longer content because they see it as more valuable and higher quality.
In addition, guest blogging gives you the opportunity to reach a new audience without having to invest in expensive ad campaigns or pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns like Facebook ads or Google AdWords. If done right, guest blogging can be a low-cost way for companies of all sizes.
3. Format your Guest Blog Posts and Links to Maximize Effectiveness
Guest blogging is a great way to increase your visibility and drive traffic to your site. It also gives you the opportunity to develop relationships with industry leaders and influencers, which can help open up other opportunities down the road.
But what if you’re just starting out and have no one to write for? Here are some tips for writing guest posts and links that will maximize their effectiveness.
You want to make sure that your guest post is formatted properly so it looks professional, readable, and interesting. The best way to do this is by using a blog post template that’s already been approved by the editor of the blog where you’re submitting your guest post.
Here are some examples:
- Free Blog Post Template from HubSpot
- Free Blog Post Template from Copyblogger
A. Format Your Google Doc Correctly
When you’re writing a document, you can use styles to format the text. When you choose a style, your document will be formatted in a preset way.
For example, if you choose “heading” for the first level of style, all of your headlines will be formatted with bold text and appropriate font size.
You can create your own styles or modify existing ones. For example, you might want to change a heading from bold to italicized text.
This can be done by creating a new style with only one character difference from the original (for example, changing BOLD to ITALIC). When you apply this new style, it will change all instances of BOLD text to ITALIC in your document.
The following video will explain how to format your Google Doc correctly:
B. Strategically Add Your Links
Links are the currency of the Internet. Links are what make search engines work, and they’re what drive the traffic to your website.
However, if you just add links to your site without any thought, you can end up with a site that looks spammy (and gets penalized by search engines). You also may not get the traffic you want or need from those links.
Here are some tips for strategically adding links to your site:
Use text links only. Don’t use images to link to other sites. Search engines can’t read images, so they don’t count as links when they crawl your site.
Don’t link to everything under the sun. Linking out on every page is a good idea if you want your site to be useful and helpful but it’s also an easy way for Google and other search engines to spot spammy behavior on your site.
If you have hundreds or thousands of links across many pages, it could look like you’re trying too hard to earn money or get traffic from affiliate programs rather than provide value for readers.
Make sure each link serves a purpose. Make sure each link adds value in some way whether it’s sending readers to more information on a topic or bringing them back through affiliate revenue-sharing programs.
C. Add Your Author Bio (With Backlinks)
Your author bio is the first thing people see when they go to your website, whether it’s on Amazon, Goodreads or your own website. It’s your chance to introduce yourself and explain why you’re qualified to write the book you’re promoting.
That doesn’t mean you have to be an expert in every field of your topic after all, that’s why you’re writing a book! But if you’re not an expert, it’s important to acknowledge that up front so readers understand that they can’t trust everything in the book as fact.
If you do have expertise in one area of your topic (or several), include those qualifications in the bio section of your website too.
Finally, don’t forget backlinks! There are lots of ways to get backlinks from other websites into your author bio section:
- Link on social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter
- Put links on guest posts on other websites (make sure they’re relevant!)
- Add links from other sites where you’ve been interviewed or featured as an author (such as Goodreads)
4. Link to Target Influencers in your Guest Posts
Guest posts are an important part of the content marketing strategy. Guest posts can help you build links to your website and improve your authority in the industry.
In this article, I will show you how to get more out of your guest posts by linking to target influencers in your guest post.
Guest Posts are a great way to build links and gain exposure for your brand on other websites. However, there is another way that guest posts can benefit you even more, but few people know about it.
When you write a guest post on someone’s blog, they usually have the right to publish it on their site with or without any changes. So, if they leave it as is then they won’t gain anything from their efforts because no one will read it anyway.
But if they change it then they will lose originality which is harmful for their reputation as well as yours because they might not get credit for publishing it originally.
5. Guest Blogging for SEO: Tracking your Results
Guest posting is a great way to get in front of new audiences and build relationships. But what about the SEO benefits?
There are several ways that guest blogging for SEO can improve your site’s rankings.
The first step in tracking guest blogging results is to analyze the results of each post individually. You’ll want to look at each post’s traffic, shares, comments, and links from other sites.
If you have time, you can also track conversions (sales, signups or leads) from each post as well. If you’re using Google Analytics or another analytics tool, it can be helpful to create an “action” goal for each post and set up a comparison report between the action goals over time so that you can see how they compare with one another.
For example, if one post gets more social shares than another then it might be a good idea to try and replicate this success with other posts on other blogs.
1. Guest Blogging for SEO Alexa Rank
Guest blogging is a great way to get your name out there, but it can also be a great way to improve your Alexa rank.
A lot of people think that guest blogging is only good for getting links, but the truth is that guest blogging can be an excellent strategy for improving your Alexa rank.
If you’re not familiar with Alexa Rank, it’s a free tool that measures and ranks websites based on traffic. The more traffic you have, the higher your Alexa Rank will be.
This means that if you want to increase your Alexa Rank, you need more traffic. This is where guest blogging comes in handy because many people use tools like Google Analytics to see where their traffic is coming from and what kind of content people are reading on their site.
If you are able to write content that attracts new readers and makes them want to come back for more, then this will help increase your rank over time as well!
2. Guest Blogging for SEO Domain Rating
Guest blogging is a great way to get your site some high-quality, relevant backlinks. It’s also a great way to build relationships with other bloggers and grow your audience.
But if you’re going to do it right, you need to make sure that your guest post is going to be valuable for the site’s visitors. If not, those links might actually hurt your SEO efforts rather than help them!
Here are some tips for guest blogging for SEO domain rating:
1. Make sure that your content will be useful for the readers of the site where you want to post. The more valuable it is, the more likely it will be shared by other bloggers and drive traffic back to your site.
Don’t just think about getting traffic from search engines think about getting traffic from people who trust the source of your content enough to share it with their friends and followers on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
2. Check out the competition by looking at their most recent posts and see how many shares they get in a given time period (e.g., 30 days). This will give you an idea of what kind of content performs well on that particular blog so that you can tailor your own post accordingly.
3. Guest Blogging for SEO Number of Backlinks
Guest blogging is a powerful way to gain exposure, build your brand and generate links. But how many guest posts do you need to land on the first page of Google?
The short answer is: it depends. There are lots of factors that go into determining what makes a post successful, including where you publish it, the topic, and whether or not you have any existing links pointing to that page already.
For example, if you have several hundred links pointing at your site already (which means Google likes you), then publishing one more article on a reputable site will help your chances of ranking well. If you don’t have any links pointing at your site yet, then publishing 10 articles on reputable sites will help increase your chances of ranking (because each backlink counts as an additional vote).
But if we’re talking about guest blogging for SEO purposes only meaning that guest blogging isn’t just about building relationships but also about ranking in search engines then there’s no magic number for how many backlinks you need from guest posts before they start helping with rankings in search engines like Google.
4. Guest Blogging for SEO Number of Referring Domains
Guest blogging is one of the oldest techniques for building search engine visibility. However, it’s also one of the most misunderstood.
In this article, I’ll help you understand the purpose and value of guest blogging for SEO and how to make it work for you.
The Concept Behind Guest Blogging for SEO
Guest blogging is fairly simple: You write articles for other blogs in your niche, and those blogs publish them on their site. The idea is that links back to your website from other sites will help improve your search engine rankings.
In addition, guest bloggers are often asked to include a byline with their name and a link back to their website in their articles. This creates additional exposure on another site, which can be beneficial if the content attracts links or social shares.
The Benefits of Guest Blogging for SEO
It’s free marketing. You don’t have to spend any money on guest blogging; you simply pitch yourself to a blog owner and then write an article that matches his or her audience needs (and hopefully interests).
You’ll build relationships with other bloggers in your industry who might share your content on social media or link back to it from their own.
5. Guest Blogging for SEO Organic Keywords
Guest blogging is a great way to build your brand, increase your visibility and expand your reach. But did you know that it can also help with search engine optimization (SEO)?
There are several ways that guest blogging can improve your SEO. Here are just a few:
- Guest posts can improve Google rankings by helping you to build links. Links from other websites are one of the most important factors in how Google ranks websites. By writing content for other blogs and then including links back to your own site, you will boost your overall link profile, which will be beneficial for both search engines and readers alike.
- When writing for other sites, you should always include keywords and phrases that are relevant to their readership. This helps with keyword density on those sites as well as SEO for organic keywords something that is very important when it comes to ranking in Google’s algorithm.
- Guest blogging gives you the opportunity to become an industry expert on certain topics or niches within your field of expertise or interest. When people see that you have this expertise, they will be more likely to follow your advice or seek out further information from you directly because they feel like they can trust what you say based on what they read on someone else.

In this guide, we covered how to use guest posting effectively and give you some tips on how to get started with it.
Guest blogging is when someone writes an article for another blog or website, usually in exchange for a link back to their site.
The term comes from the idea that bloggers are “guests” on other people’s websites by providing them with content.
Guest posting is one of the most effective ways to get more traffic, leads, and sales from your blog. Here are some examples of why:
You can reach new audiences by writing about topics related to your niche but outside of your niche (related niche) that have high search volume and low competition for keywords.
These posts will rank well for those keywords and bring new readers into your site who may eventually become customers/leads/subscribers/etc.
This helps grow your brand presence outside of your target audience which is key.
