If so, then we need to find other keywords that are related to solar-powered home appliances and rank for them instead. For example, let’s say you want to rank for “best car insurance companies”. There are currently around 100 million monthly searches for this keyword on Google alone. That’s a lot of people who could potentially be interested in your content about car insurance companies!

However, it’s also worth noting that most searchers aren’t looking for anything specific when they type in a broad keyword like this  they’re just trying to learn more about your subject matter in general or they want to compare different options before making a decision.

This means that even with all those monthly searches, there isn’t much intent behind them not many people are actually looking for your website when they search “best car insurance companies”.

3. Keyword Research Diamonds in the Rough (Low Volume, High Intent)      

 It’s time to break out the pickaxes, because we’re going deep into the caves of keyword research. In this post, we’ll be talking about what I call “keyword research diamonds in the rough.” These are keywords that have low search volume but high intent (the amount of people who search for them).

These keywords are a great way to boost your organic traffic and sales because they usually have lower competition than other keywords with similar search volume. They also tend to convert better than more popular keywords since people who search for these terms already know what they want and are more likely to convert.

You might be wondering why it’s important to target these low-volume/high-intent keywords, especially if they don’t bring in as much traffic as popular ones. Well, here’s why:

Low Volume = Less Competition = More Conversions = Higher ROI

If you can rank for a keyword that only gets 10 searches per month, but it converts at 5%, then that means you’d make $50 per month on that keyword alone without even having to spend any money on PPC or SEO! And if you can rank for 10 such keywords? You’ve just made yourself some serious cash with no extra effort required

High Difficulty Score, But Easier to Rank For

I recently found an interesting article on Search Engine Land that discussed the idea that a site with a high Google Difficulty score was easier to rank for than a similar site with a low Google Difficulty score. The reason is that while it might take more effort to get the content on your page higher quality, it will be easier to rank once it’s there.

The article discussed how this works in the case of blogs. In particular, it cited an article by Rand Fishkin about how his company got ranked for the term “SEO Software”.

The difficulty score for this term is 5/10 (easier than most) and Rand’s company had only 4 pages on their blog about SEO software. Rand said: For us, it wasn’t all that hard to rank for this phrase because we already had over 4 pages on our blog discussing SEO tools and software.”
