Kick-Ass

Kick-Ass (2010) is a dark action-comedy film directed by Matthew Vaughn, based on the comic book series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. The film follows Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), an ordinary high school student who decides to become a masked vigilante, despite having no special skills or training. He quickly encounters the violent, no-nonsense duo, Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) and Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage), who are far more equipped for combat. Kick-Ass is known for its satirical take on superhero tropes, its over-the-top action sequences, and its bold, irreverent humor. The film received critical acclaim for its unique spin on the superhero genre and the standout performances from the cast, particularly Moretz, whose portrayal of Hit-Girl became iconic.
