V For Vendetta

V for Vendetta is a 2005 political thriller directed by James McTeigue, based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. The film is set in a dystopian future where a masked vigilante known as V (Hugo Weaving) seeks to overthrow a fascist government in England. The film stars Natalie Portman as Evey, a young woman who becomes involved with V’s mission after being rescued by him. V for Vendetta is known for its sharp political commentary on themes of freedom, totalitarianism, and revolution, making it both a gripping thriller and a thought-provoking social commentary.
