Who Is Elon Musk?
Elon Musk is an inventor and entrepreneur. He was born in South Africa, but now resides in Los Angeles, California.
In 2002 he co-founded X.com (later renamed PayPal), the online payment system that eventually became one of the world’s largest Internet companies with more than 100 million members around the world before it was acquired by eBay in October 2002 for $1.5 billion in stock.
In 2003, Musk founded SpaceX as an aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company to reduce human involvement in space exploration while still focusing on his other company, electric vehicle manufacturer, Tesla.
