Animated music videos are a special type of video that combines the elements of a music video with animation. They can be used to promote a single song, or an album as a whole.
A lot of popular artists have created their own animated music videos, including Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
Music videos have become more popular in recent years because they have become easier to create than ever before.
The simple computer programs that were once required to create these videos are now available online for free or at low cost.
This means that anyone can make an animated music video, regardless of their technical skills or budget.

What Are Animated Music Videos?
Animated music videos are a subset of music videos that feature animated illustrations, characters, and objects. They are often created in the style of anime or manga and are used to promote songs and albums.
The first animated music video was created by Walt Disney in 1928 for his song “Steamboat Willie,” which was considered the first Mickey Mouse cartoon.
This milestone marked the beginning of a new era in advertising, where promotional products could be made into a form of entertainment on their own.
Since then, many artists have produced their own AMVs to promote their music. These videos can be found online or on television shows like MTV and VH1.
The first animated music videos were created in the 1960s by animators such as Walt Disney and Will Vinton Studios. They weren’t very successful until the 1980s when MTV started broadcasting them regularly on its shows like “Total Request Live.”
Today there are many websites that offer free resources for creating your own animated music videos, including YouTube and Vimeo.

Life is a Highway by Tom Cochrane and Red Rider. This music video takes you through the life of a rock star as he travels across America, from a small town to the big city.
It’s My Life by Bon Jovi. This video shows the life of a group of teenagers in the 70s who have nothing but their love for music and each other.
The Ecstasy of Gold by Metallica. A band member is portrayed as an astronaut, who goes on a journey searching for his soul mate who has been kidnapped by aliens.
Billie Jean by Michael Jackson. A woman sings about her love for her boyfriend and how she wants him to leave his girlfriend so she can be with him instead of her rival — all while having flashbacks to their affair when they were younger.
Jarvis Cocker – Aline
Jarvis Cocker is an English musician, singer-songwriter, producer and actor. He was the lead singer of Pulp from 1986 to 1995 and 1992 to 2003. He also had a successful solo career as a member of the band Jarvis Cocker; his debut album won the Brit Award for Best British Male in 1998.
Cocker is known for his distinctive voice and stage presence. His work has earned him six Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards.
Cocker was born in Birmingham, England, to a family of musicians: his father was a trumpet player with The Young Generation; his mother was a jazz singer. His two older brothers were musicians as well: Edward Cocker played bass guitar with The Family Dogg and drummer Ricky Cocker played drums with Madcap and Britpop outfit The Housemartins.
Cocker began playing drums at age five, later switching to guitar and forming a pop rock band called The Spiders from Mars (later renamed Pulp). They were signed by EMI Records after one demo tape that landed in A&R director Chris Hufford’s office was enough to convince him that the group had talent worth developing further
Mac Miller – Good News
Mac Miller’s new album, Faces, is a collection of personal stories and songs about his life. He opens up about the death of his grandmother and the loss of his best friend after the passing of their mother.
He also talks about his struggles with depression, a subject he’s been open about in the past. In this interview with The FADER, Mac talks about how he dealt with those emotions during this time in his life and what it was like working on this album in such an intimate way.
When I first heard this song I wasn’t really sure what to think of it. I thought it was pretty cool but then when I heard it live at his show in New York City I was blown away by how much more powerful it became.
There are so many parts to this song that make me feel something different every time I hear it because of how each piece builds upon itself and pushes forward into something new. It’s one thing to listen to an artist talk about their life experiences like they did on Faces, but it’s another thing entirely to have them come out on stage and sing these songs themselves.
That connection between artist and audience is so important when making music like this because you’re sharing both your highs
Jay-Z – The Story Of O.J.
The Story of O.J. is the story of a man who had everything going for him, and then he lost it all. His name is Orenthal James Simpson, and this is his story.
In 1976, OJ Simpson was an All-American football player at USC. He was so good that one scout called him “the best I ever saw.” In fact, he was so good that he was drafted first overall by the Buffalo Bills in 1979.
OJ Simpson was known for his speed and agility on the field, but off of it he was known as a ladies’ man. He had a reputation for being ahead of his time; this all came to a head on June 12, 1994 when Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman were murdered in Brentwood, California.
Nicole Brown’s ex-boyfriend Robert Shapiro claimed that OJ had called him up at 1AM and said: “I want you to find me an alibi.”
Robert Shapiro took this as proof that OJ Simpson had something to hide, so he hired two private detectives to follow him around town while they tried to find evidence that would link him back to the murders
Post Malone, Swae Lee – Sunflower
Post Malone and Swae Lee are here to bring the sunshine with their new single. The duo’s collaboration is a throwback to the ‘90s when hip hop was all about the flow.
“Sunflower” is a song that could have easily been on OVO Sound Radio back in 2016, but this time around it sounds more refined than ever before. The mellow beat is perfect for lounging on a couch and listening to Post Malone rap over it.
The lyrics are equally as chill as the song itself, with Swae Lee singing about how he’s always down for whatever his partner has planned for the day or evening.
The two artists have been working together for quite some time now so it makes sense that they would come together again for something different than just another feature on one of their songs. In fact, they even recorded an entire album together last year called Issa OG which featured multiple other artists like Ski Mask The Slump God, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Young Thug amongst others.
It looks like Post Malone and Swae Lee are taking a break from music after releasing their albums this year but look out because we may
Childish Gambino – Feels Like Summer
“Feels Like Summer” is the first single from Childish Gambino’s upcoming album Awaken, My Love!, which is set for release on Dec. 2. The track is a funky, funkadelic blend of hip-hop and R&B that feels like the perfect soundtrack to a warm summer evening.
The song is a departure from Childish Gambino’s usual style, in which he raps about more serious topics like politics and race relations in America. “Feels Like Summer” has a more playful tone than his previous songs even though it was produced by Hit-Boy, who has worked with Kanye West and Drake among others, it manages to stay true to Gambino’s signature sound.
The first verse features an infectious refrain and lyrics that reference everything from the color yellow to the feeling of being in love.
The chorus features an entirely different set of lyrics: “I feel like Summer / And I wanna shine / I wanna take it all the way / To 23rd Street / To get some sweat on me.” The second verse continues with this same theme but also adds references to Kanye West (who produced the track) and Chance
A-Ha – Take On Me
A-ha’s “Take On Me” is one of the best songs in their discography. It was the only song written by Morten Harket, who also wrote “Take On Me” and “The Sun Always Shines on TV.” The song was released in 1985 and became a big hit around the world, especially in Ireland where it peaked at #1 on the charts. It even reached #1 in Australia!
The song was produced by John Robinson, who also produced A-Ha’s first two albums. This is his second collaboration with A-Ha after producing their third album Hunting High and Low (1985).
This is definitely one of my favorite songs from this era because it has such a great sound to it; it has an 80s feel to it with its synth sounds and guitar riffs throughout the entire song. There are some great lyrics too like: “There’s no way back from here/It’s all ahead/And there’s no way back from here/I don’t want to go there anymore/And I don’t want you to go with me.
Gorillaz – Feel Good Inc.
Feel Good Inc. is the second studio album by English virtual band Gorillaz, released in April 2001 by Parlophone in the United Kingdom and by Virgin Records in the United States. It was promoted with the hit singles “Feel Good Inc.”, “DARE”, “19-2000”, and “Rock the House”.
The album was certified 6× Platinum in the UK and 2× Platinum in the US. It is Gorillaz’s best-selling album to date, having sold over 15 million copies worldwide as of 2010.
Feel Good Inc. peaked at number five on both sides of Atlantic Ocean and spent 106 weeks on Billboard 200 chart, peaking at number two behind Toni Braxton’s self-titled debut album (1998). The album has been certified 6× Platinum by RIAA for selling 6 million copies in U.S., making it one of the best selling albums ever released by a virtual band.[1][2]
The Strokes – Ode To The Mets
The Strokes are the best band in the world. I don’t know what else to say. The band has been together for over a decade now, and they’re still one of the most exciting bands around.
They released their latest album Comedown Machine earlier this year, and it’s as good as anything they’ve ever done. It’s also one of their most personal albums yet, which is why it’s so good.
The song “Ode To The Mets” takes a very personal look at how much it sucks to live in New York City during baseball season. It starts out slow and atmospheric with just the drums and piano before moving into full-on rock mode with some great guitar work from Nikolai Fraiture (the guy who used to be in Arctic Monkeys).
R.E.M. – Man-Sized Wreath
This is the cover of their first album, Murmur, and it’s a pretty good one. The cover art was done by Peter Corriston, who also did the artwork for their second album, Reckoning.
This is a pretty straightforward image of a man-sized wreath hanging over a city street, with the band members looking down on it from above in their trademark dark suits and shades (and Michael Stipe wearing an old-timey top hat).
It’s not surprising that this image was used as the cover for their debut album; R.E.M.’s music has always been about exploring themes of alienation and longing for connection, and this image reflects those feelings perfectly: the man-sized wreath represents being alone in a crowd of people; he’s out there just trying to find his place in the world…
Bill Wurtz – Got Some Money
The first thing that you need to know about Bill Wurtz is that he is a very funny man. He was a writer for “The Tonight Show” for many years and he has written many books. He is also a stand-up comedian and has appeared on many other shows like “The Late Show with David Letterman”.
Bill Wurtz has been writing for over 40 years and he is one of the best known writers in the business today. He has written many books and scripts for television shows like “The Cosby Show”, “Cosby” and “Mad About You”.
In this comedy album, Bill talks about how he got his first job as an office boy at NBC in New York City when he was 18 years old. He talks about his experience working as an office boy during this time period and how it prepared him for what was coming later on in life when he started working at NBC as a writer there.
Bill talks about how hard it is to get hired by any company nowadays because they always have so much competition out there trying to get jobs from all over America so they have to come up with new ideas on how to get people hired by them because most companies
Dua Lipa – Levitating
Dua Lipa has dropped her new single ‘Levitating’ featuring Miguel, and it is everything.
The song comes after Dua Lipa unveiled her self-titled debut album last month, which went straight to number one in the UK and spent four weeks at the top of the charts.
On ‘Levitating’, Dua Lipa sings, “I’m moving on you” and the lyrics are so relatable. We all have been there.
She also says, “I’m not going back home” and we can relate to that too. After a breakup or break-up, no matter how much you want your ex to come back into your life, you know it’s not going to happen!
Dua Lipa has been getting rave reviews for her debut album and this new single is definitely another hit from her album. The song will be featured on an upcoming episode of Riverdale on Netflix.”
Billie Eilish – My Future
I’m finally at a place in my life where I can start doing things for myself.
I know that sounds crazy, but it’s true. I’ve always been the type of kid who wants to do everything for everyone else, and now I’m finally realizing that you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of anyone else. You can’t put others before yourself if you don’t put yourself first.
It’s important to take care of yourself, because then you’ll be able to help others more easily. You’ll know what they need and how they feel so well that it will be easy for them to tell you what they need and how they feel. And even though most people don’t realize it, taking care of themselves is also going to make them happier and healthier too!
When someone takes care of themselves, everything around them does better too — their relationships improve, their work gets done faster, and they get more done in less time.
They’re more productive at work and at home because they’re staying healthy so that they can keep working hard all day long instead of feeling exhausted all the time like I used to do when I didn’t take care of myself properly first before giving attention
Daft Punk – One More Time
Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo composed of producers Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. The duo were initially known for using a human beatbox in their songs, but have since abandoned this style and began using more typical electronic instruments.
Daft Punk’s music is characterized by its use of 1970s-era pop elements (such as drum machines and analog synthesizers), minimalist production and an emphasis on electronic dance music. The duo’s work is also marked by their significant experimentation with retro styles such as house music and disco.
Daft Punk’s debut album, Homework, was released in 1997 to critical acclaim and commercial success across the globe. The album was their first to attain platinum status in France, United States and Canada. Daft Punk are known for the hit singles “Around the World”, “One More Time”, “Harder Better Faster Stronger” (remix) and “Technologic”.
In February 2005, Daft Punk left Virgin Records for EMI Records before releasing Random Access Memories in 2013, which became one of the most critically acclaimed albums of all time according to Metacritic
Pink Floyd – Another Brick In The Wall, Part Two
The Wall is a rock opera by Pink Floyd, the second part of which is widely considered to be one of the band’s most iconic and enduring songs.
This song was written in response to Syd Barrett, who left the band in 1968. The first half of the song describes how the protagonist tries to deal with his feelings after losing his best friend and long-time bandmate Roger Waters left him.
He feels an overwhelming sense of loneliness, isolation and despair as he must go on without him. The second half describes his walled-off world that he has built around himself; it represents all that he is afraid of losing because of his separation from Waters.
Barrett was replaced by David Gilmour, who played guitar solos on this track.
Red Hot Chili Peppers – Sick Love
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the most iconic rock bands in the world. They have been around since the 80’s and have released some of the best albums ever to be created. The band was formed by guitarist Hillel Slovak, drummer Cliff Martinez, bassist Jack Irons, and singer Anthony Kiedis.
Their first album was named after their name and it was an instant hit with fans everywhere. They used this album as a way to get their name out there and they were able to do just that! After they released their second album they were able to get even more fans hooked on their music because not only did they make great music but they also wrote songs about things that people could relate too.
The band has had many ups and downs over the years but regardless of what happens they always seem to come back stronger than ever before! The latest album from them was released in 2016 called “Artificial Smiles”.
This album is definitely one of my favorites from them because it has such a different sound than any other album by them except for maybe “Stadium Arcadium”. It’s very different from anything else that I’ve heard from them so far which makes me love it even more!
American Pop – Night Moves
American Pop is a 1970 studio album by American singer-songwriter Neil Diamond. It consists of twelve tracks, all of which were written and composed by Diamond. The album was released by Columbia Records on October 23, 1970 in the United States and Canada (LP, CS) and November 5 in the UK (LP, CS, EP).
The LP was reissued by Rhino Records in 1998 as part of their “Neil Diamond & Friends” series, along with a CD version of the album. The original LP has been discontinued since February 2015 when it was replaced with this CD version.
The title track “American Pop” became a staple hit for him throughout his career. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and went on to win an American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Single at the 1972 American Music Awards held on January 27, 1972. The song also reached number one on both the Easy Listening and Adult Contemporary charts in Canada.[2]
Other songs from the album include “Solitary Man”, which reached number six on both US and UK Singles Charts,[3] “Little Drummer Boy”,[4] “Cherry Cherry Blues”,[5] “I’m Leaving You
Pearl Jam – Do The Evolution
Pearl Jam’s seventh studio album was released in November 2000. When it came out, it was widely hailed as a return to form for the group, and it earned them their first Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
The album features a more experimental sound than Pearl Jam had previously explored. The recording sessions began in 1999 at Pavement Recording Studios in Seattle, Washington and were led by producer Brendan O’Brien.
The music on the album has been described as “anthemic rock”, and also as “experimental punk”. The band members have said that they intentionally wanted to make an album that would not be compared to their previous work; according to Eddie Vedder, “We knew that if we made another record like Ten or Vs., people would say it sounded like another album like those records.”
Do The Evolution peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 chart but failed to match sales of its predecessors and was considered poorly received by critics. Despite this, it became Pearl Jam’s first album since No Code to enter the Top 40 of the UK Albums Chart when it reached number 32 in March 2001.
Kanye West – Heartless
Kanye West has a way of making his music sound like an album that could have been made in the early 2000s. He’s been at this for so long that it feels like he’s always been a part of hip-hop, even when he was trying to break into the industry.
And now, with the release of his new album “Ye” and its follow up single “Heartless,” West proves he still has what it takes to be one of the best rappers alive today.
The first thing that hits you when you listen to “Heartless” is how big and expansive it feels. The track begins with an eerie sample from R&B singer Sam Smith’s “Pray” before moving into a steady drumbeat and piano chords.
This slow build-up is filled with tension as Kanye delivers some verses overtop of it all before finally breaking into a verse that sounds like it belongs in an old school West album rather than one produced by him nowadays.
Animated Music Videos – Wrapping Up
There are a lot of reasons why people love animated music videos. They’re fun, they’re catchy and they can be really creative. If you want to create one for your song, here are some tips to keep in mind:
Make sure it matches the theme of your song. If your song is about love, make sure the video has scenes of love. If you have a song about friendship, make sure there’s lots of friends in the video.
Keep it simple. What makes animated videos so popular is that they can be done quickly and inexpensively.
Don’t try to do too much in one shot or else it will be difficult to edit down later on.
Don’t go overboard with special effects. The best way to get people interested in your video is by making it as simple as possible without losing any quality or clarity of images/video footage used in it.
