Another feature that the GH5S boasts what’s called a V-Log Profile. This is a feature that required a separate purchase before. In essence, what it does is filming the flattest image it possibly could.
This in turn helps the post-production coloring process since it gives more freedom to add whatever color grading you desire.
The only thing setting the GH5S back is that there is no image stabilization. Which is quite remarkable! It’s clear that this is the area where Panasonic made a compromise. This, however, can still be remedied by using a gimbal.
